The Penguin Project: Dr. Andrew Morgan created The Penguin Project recognizing that theater not only provides children with a valuable recreational experience and an opportunity to display their creative talents, but also enhances social interaction, communication skills, assertiveness, and self-esteem. Boys & girls ages 4-18 (or up to age 22 if still attending high school), with physical & developmental challenges to enjoy the full benefits of participation in the Hershey Little League program.

This program teaches individuals with physical and cognitive challenges to ice skate and play hockey at Hershey park Arena in the Fall and Winter.

Hershey Twizzles program runs for 6-weeks, with off-ice and on-ice activities. It is open to age 5 to adult.

The Unified Indoor Bocce season occurs from December through February with the culminating events held in March. Teams practice a minimum of twice a week and participate in at least three competitions.

Messiah University's NEXT Steps is a two-year four semester fully residential certificate program designed for students with intellectual disability. Students have the opportunity to earn a Certificate in Career and Personal Development with a choice of concentration; demonstrating their preparation for integration into competitive employment and greater independence

The Career Studies Program at Penn State Harrisburg is a U.S. Department of Education approved Comprehensive Transition Program (CTP), where individuals with intellectual disabilities can obtain a high-quality, individualized post-secondary education that leads to social and professional networks, careers, and a bright future. Career Studies is an inclusive two-year, four-semester program that includes academic and social enrichment, career exploration, and practical work experiences.

They meet once a month and participate in many different activities like planting flowers, paint night, going out for dinner, movie night & more! Membership is open to females of all ages with a mental or physical disability.

For over 30 years, Red Strikers Bowling Club bowls every Saturday at noon at ABC East Bowling for children with special needs and their families.

Designed after the global Best Buddies program and managed through Hershey High School to provide unique experiences with individuals.
